Where education is an adventure!

Grounded in the educational philosophy that learning at its peak happens through doing, we offer innovative education to support the holistic development of our learners. Recognizing the unique needs of each person, we have designed our curriculum around real-world applications of the concepts we explore.

We help learners build skills in math, literacy, art, and environmental education, with emphasis on authenticity, scientific problem-solving, and practical life. One key feature is our connection to nature. We learn in, through, and about nature, tying heritage skills to 21st century knowledge and application.

We are a community that values creativity, stewardship of the natural world, intellectual pursuits, and work of hand and heart, and we support each other's distinct interests and talents.

 Destination: Nature!

Settled on 33 acres of fields and forest, ours is a community of horses, goats, chickens, dogs, educators, and - most importantly - children! We believe the farm offers many authentic and inspiring lessons that give children the opportunity to own what they learn and innovate with it.

Our specialty is providing interdisciplinary learning with structures in math, writing and literature, art, and environmental education. But as the sky is the limit here, the farm is a wealth of practical life experiences that include work of the hand, cultivation of the intellect, and motivation from the heart.

Equally important is our Montessori elementary classroom, located in town. A hub for more in-depth academic work, it is convenient to Williamsburg and also surrounded by nature.
